ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Last Updated: March 2026

1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

PSD Underwear is committed to ensuring that psdunderwear.com and our mobile application (collectively, the "Platform") are accessible to the broadest possible audience, regardless of ability or the assistive technology used. We firmly believe that the internet should be available and accessible to everyone.

We aim to adhere as strictly as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 (WCAG 2.2) at the AA conformance level. WCAG 2.2 AA is the current internationally recognized standard for web accessibility and is backward compatible with WCAG 2.1. Conforming with these guidelines helps ensure our Platform is accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, motor, auditory, cognitive, and neurological impairments.

Our accessibility commitment extends to both our website (psdunderwear.com) and our iOS and Android mobile application. We work to ensure both platforms meet the same accessibility standards.

2. Legal Framework

Our accessibility efforts are informed by and consistent with the following legal frameworks and standards:

  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title III, which requires places of public accommodation — including commercial websites and mobile apps — to be accessible to individuals with disabilities.
  • Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, which establishes accessibility standards for electronic and information technology.
  • W3C WCAG 2.2 AA, the current international technical standard for web content accessibility.
  • European Accessibility Act (EAA), which applies to digital products and services offered to consumers in the European Union, effective June 2025.

We are continuously working to ensure our Platform meets or exceeds applicable accessibility standards. If you believe any part of our Platform does not conform, please contact us using the information provided in Section 7.

3. Technical Approach and Accessibility Features

Our Platform utilizes a combination of built-in accessibility features, AI-assisted optimization, and an accessibility interface that allows users with specific disabilities to adjust the Platform's user interface (UI) to their personal needs.

AI-Assisted Background Optimization

An AI-based application runs continuously in the background and optimizes the Platform's accessibility level in real time. This application:

  • Scans and remediates the Platform's HTML to ensure screen-reader compatibility.
  • Provides meaningful ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes for interactive elements, form labels, actionable icons, validation guidance, and element roles.
  • Automatically generates accurate ALT text descriptions for images using object-recognition technology.
  • Extracts text embedded within images using OCR (optical character recognition) technology.
  • Adjusts functionality and behavior to support keyboard navigation for users with motor impairments.
  • Ensures that newly updated content maintains compliance on an ongoing basis.

Screen-Reader and Keyboard Navigation

Our Platform implements ARIA attributes and behavioral adjustments to ensure screen-reader users can read, navigate, and interact with all Platform features. As soon as a screen-reader user enters the Platform, they receive an automatic prompt to activate Screen-Reader mode. Screen-reader mode can also be activated at any time by pressing Alt+1.

Our screen-reader implementation is compatible with JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), and TalkBack (Android).

Keyboard navigation is fully supported. Users can navigate the Platform using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, operate dropdown menus with arrow keys, close elements with Esc, activate buttons and links with Enter, and select radio buttons and checkboxes using arrow keys and the Spacebar. Content-skip menus are available at any time by pressing Alt+2 or as the first navigable element on the page. Keyboard users can also use the following shortcuts to jump directly to key page elements:

Shortcut Key Navigates To
M Menus
H Headings
F Forms
B Buttons
G Graphics
Alt+1 Activate Screen-Reader mode
Alt+2 Content-skip menu

UI, Design, and Readability Adjustments

The accessibility interface provides the following user-controlled adjustments:

  • Font adjustments — increase or decrease font size, change font family (type), adjust spacing, alignment, and line height.
  • Color adjustments — select from multiple contrast profiles including light, dark, inverted, and monochrome; swap color schemes for titles, text, and backgrounds.
  • Animation controls — stop all running animations including videos, GIFs, and CSS flashing transitions with a single click.
  • Content highlighting — emphasize links and titles, or highlight focused or hovered elements.
  • Audio muting — instantly mute all website audio for users with hearing devices who may be affected by automatic audio playback.
  • Cognitive assistance — a search engine linked to Wikipedia and Wiktionary helps users with cognitive disorders understand phrases, abbreviations, and terminology.
  • Additional controls — adjust cursor color and size, enable a virtual keyboard, use a printing mode, and other assistive functions.

4. Supported Disability Profiles

The following accessibility profiles are available on our Platform and can be activated through the accessibility interface:

Profile Description
Epilepsy Safe Profile Eliminates the risk of seizures from flashing or blinking animations and risky color combinations.
Vision Impaired Profile Adjusts the platform for users with visual impairments including degrading eyesight, tunnel vision, cataract, and glaucoma.
Cognitive Disability Profile Provides assistive features to help users with cognitive disabilities such as Autism, Dyslexia, and CVA to focus on essential elements.
ADHD Friendly Profile Reduces distractions and noise to help users with ADHD and neurodevelopmental disorders browse and focus more easily.
Blind Users / Screen-Reader Profile Optimizes the platform for compatibility with screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. Screen-reader mode can be activated at any time by pressing Alt+1.
Keyboard Navigation Profile (Motor-Impaired) Enables motor-impaired persons to operate the platform using keyboard Tab, Shift+Tab, and Enter keys, plus content-skip shortcuts (M = menus, H = headings, F = forms, B = buttons, G = graphics).

5. Browser and Assistive Technology Compatibility

We aim to support as many browsers and assistive technologies as possible so that users can choose the tools that work best for them. Our Platform is tested for compatibility with the following:

  • Web browsers — Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Opera (covering over 95% of the global browser market share).
  • Screen readers — JAWS and NVDA (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), and TalkBack (Android).
  • Operating systems — Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.

We recommend using the latest version of your browser and assistive technology for the best accessibility experience. If you encounter compatibility issues with a specific combination of browser and assistive technology, please report it to us using the contact information in Section 7.

6. Known Limitations and Third-Party Content

Despite our best efforts to make the Platform fully accessible, there may be pages, features, or sections that are not yet fully accessible, are in the process of being remediated, or present technical challenges for which an adequate solution is still being developed. We are continuously improving the Platform's accessibility and working to resolve known issues.

We are committed to ongoing accessibility improvements. If you encounter any specific accessibility barrier on our Platform, please contact us — your feedback directly informs our remediation priorities.

Our Platform may include content or features provided by third parties — such as embedded social media widgets, payment processors, or video content — over which we have limited or no control. We cannot guarantee that all third-party content meets WCAG 2.2 AA standards. Where possible, we encourage our third-party partners to maintain accessible implementations, but we are not responsible for the accessibility of third-party content.

Our Platform also links to external websites operated by third parties. These third-party sites are not covered by this Accessibility Statement and may have their own accessibility policies.

7. Feedback, Complaints, and Contact Information

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our Platform. If you experience an accessibility barrier, have difficulty using any feature, or wish to report a specific issue, please contact us. We are committed to responding to accessibility feedback within five (5) business days.

Please provide as much detail as possible in your message, including: the URL or page where you encountered the issue; the assistive technology and browser you are using; a description of the problem; and your preferred contact method for follow-up.
